Accident registration

The registration of an accident is possible in three ways (as well for individuals as for companies):

• In writing using a fill in form,
• By telephone using the callcenter,
• Digitally using the website.

The process of accident registration follows these steps in the three cases:

1. 1. Input of the administrative data of the person filing the claim:
       
      • Identity of the adult filing the accident claim: add all personal data (all fields marked with an asterisk (*) should be completed)
      • Situation and position of the adult filing the accident claim.  Several answers are possible: apart from the possibility to file the claim for oneself, one can also file a claim on behalf of other victims.
        
        
   2. Input of the information concerning the victim:
      
      
      • Identity of the victim: add all personal data regarding the victim
      • Situation of the victim: add all data regarding hospitalization and/or evacuation
      • Information regarding the damage suffered: add all data regarding bodily injuries and other damage
        
        

        Important: The handling of the claims received, is followed up on an individual basis for privacy reasons. For this reason, claims must always be made individually. A person wishing to file a claim for more than one victim will therefore have to file a new individual claim for each victim. This option is offered in the last step of the process.

   3. Registration:

      
      After filling in the data mentioned above and giving the acknowledgement that you took notice of the Privacy Notice, you can transmit the claim.

   4. Confirmation:
      
      
      • The registration number and the insurer that will handle your claim as well as an overview of the data entered are communicated
      • If your email address is given, you will also receive confirmation by email. This is also the case for the victim if the victim's email address was inserted.
        
        
   5. Option to register another victim:
       
      • In the confirmation step, using the website or the call center, the option is offered to "file another claim" until one quits the registration process,
      • When using a paper declaration form, it is sufficient to enter the data of the person filing the claim once and then fill in the pages containing the personal details and the damage suffered for each victim.
